Already at the Dutch border begins the Rhine delta.
Actually it is the Rhine-Meuse delta, since the Meuse flows through the same delta in the North Sea.
The Rhine travels in the Netherlands only a gap of 12 meters.
The Rhine-Delta is of aerial photographs from an impressive spectacle.
It covers virtually the whole of Holland. The course of the Rhine-Meuse delta was the beginning of the 20th Last century.
This was done for Hochwasserschutzgünden. The Delta is also influenced by tides.
